About

Fatima Killeen - Moroccan artistI grew up in Casablanca, Morocco and graduated from the L’Ecole Supérieure des Beaux Arts de Casablanca in 1988. The following year I travelled to Washington DC to study at the Corcoran School of Art. I met and married my husband in Washington and we moved to Australia in 1994 to set up our home in Canberra.

I continued my studies at the Australian National University – Canberra School of Art until I graduated with First Class Honours in 1997. Since graduation I have taken part in various exhibitions around Australia. My artworks are hanging in homes around the world and on the walls of corporate business and government offices. A number of my works are in the collections of the Canberra Museum and Gallery, National Museum of Australia, Australian War Memorial and the Australian National University. My art has been reproduced for Australian government Human Rights Commission project reports and other publications.
